Collierville Middle School Students Recognized as 2026 Kidpreneurs by EDGE

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Collierville Middle School students Kensley Self and Mary Hollis Bailey have been recognized as the 2026 Kidpreneurs by the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) for Memphis and Shelby County during the organization's annual Economic Development & Community Recognition Awards. EDGE is the economic development agency for Memphis and Shelby County and recognizes individuals and organizations making a positive impact throughout the region.
Kensley and Mary Hollis were recognized for Clay Girl Jewelry, a business they started together creating and selling handmade jewelry. What began as a creative hobby has grown into a successful small business, giving the pair opportunities to connect with customers, showcase their work at local events, and share their creations with the community.
The EDGE Kidpreneur recognition honors young people who turn their ideas into action, and Kensley and Mary Hollis have done just that through their dedication, creativity, and willingness to take a chance on something they enjoy.
Their success serves as a reminder that some of the best ideas can start at a young age and grow into something much bigger.
