The Collierville Middle School Baseball team is a self-funded organization that is associated with Collierville Schools. The team provides an instructional/competitive program for Collierville Middle School student/athletes that plan to attend Collierville High School.
Majority of the games will be played at First Tennessee Fields in Cordova. Games will also be played at local high schools – including Collierville High School. Typically, there are two games per week (Monday thru Thursday) starting around March 5th through May 15th. This is a league consisting of other Middle School teams from the Memphis area.
There will be 2 teams from Collierville Middle School. Students in the 7th or 8th grade are welcome to tryout for the Varsity team. 6thgraders and some 7thgraders will be selected for the JV team. Pitching will be monitored very closely. Parents will be expected to email the coach every Sunday night/Monday morning with the number of pitches their son pitched that previous weekend.
As, with other Middle School sports there is NO participation requirement. However, coaches will make every attempt to play as many players as possible.
The selection process will be competitive. If your child does not make the team, you and your child should not be discouraged. We anticipate a large number of student/athletes trying out.

Sports Medicine
Student/athletes MUST submit a physical, dated after April 15, 2018, prior to tryouts. In addition, student/athlete/parent MUST complete required information on SportsWare (swol123.net).
Should your son be selected to participate for the Collierville Middle School Baseball team, the team fees are $200.00 These fees are due on or before February 15th. You may drop the fees off at the front office of Collierville Middle School in care of Coach Marchy or Coach Bachelor. Checks are to be made payable to Collierville Middle School.
