8th Resource S Math (Period 2nd)

This class is for 8th grade students who need a small setting for math instruction.  We will work this school year on the 8th grade curriculum as presented in Eureka Math.  This is a new program for Collierville Middle School, so I will be learning even as the students learn. We are also beginning the use of a skills-based reinforcement program called MATH180 in October. This will be used 3 times a week to work specifically on teaching skills students did not master in previous years.  Use of this program with fidelity will strengthen the students' fundamental skills, which in turn will increase their success in grade level skills.

New is good as it keeps our minds and outlooks fresh.

 

Homework will be given about 3 times a week.  I never give homework on Fridays.
