Unit 3 lessons 1-3 test.  We reviewed in class last Thursday and again Monday 3/18.    Know major characteristics of each biome.  See your chart and picture you took today in class on the board as review.

Presenting your biome - Be ready to present your information to your class.  Know what you are talking about without having to read everything off of your powerpoint/poster/brochure/whichever form your marketing tool is.  Be sure to discuss (1) the name of your biome (2) where it is located (3) average temperatures and rainfall - be sure if it is very different from day to night OR season to season that you explain this (4) talk about some plants and their adaptations (5) talk about some animals and their adaptations (6) talk about other unique places to visit while in your biome.

Test Over Energy Objectives # 1-7

(1) The vocabulary from the Energy (goldenrod color) sheet - the 1st column + the word "joule" on top of the 2nd column.  Put them on your vocabulary page with the rectangles - this goes in your binder.
(2) Objectives # 1-9 (we have already done 1-5).  These go on a piece of notebook paper behind the goldenrod sheet and vocabulary.
(3) The sheet I gave you 9/24 that is a review of all we have done from the textbook.
This is helping you review for next Wedneday's test over Objectives # 1-9.

Unit objectives # 1-5 - found in your science binder on the goldenrod sheet that says Energy Unit (also attached) - are due tomorrow.  You write each in a complete sentence on your own paper that answers that objective in complete sentences.  We did # 1-3 together in class.  This is a homework grade.

Lab Safety Test - you must make an 85 or better to participate in the labs in science this year.  See the lab safety handout you have.  We have also done many lab safety activities to help us review for this test.
